Past McMahons Point Ferry Wharf, up some steps again, along East Crescent and Bay View Street and down few steps to Lavender Bay. 

Lavender Bay used to be a very busy industrial area, mainly with shipbuilding and repair. 

Now most of the valuable harbour properties made room for high-rise apartment blocks.

 The short walk around Lavender Bay is very pleasant, with quaint little sculptures and bright flower along the way.
