Blues Point is famous for the first high-rise apartment block built in Sydney in 1962 by the famous architect Harry Seidler. Most Sydney-siders consider this building as ugly, however in 2002 it was added to the Local Heritage Register. 

And no balconies! 
But at least some french windows to enjoy the magnificent views. 

At Blues Point are still some remnants of World War 2 defence installations to protect Sydney. 

A strange look at the harbour through the gunner’s hole. 

Along on a narrow strip of open space below Henry Lawson Avenue is a little beach with a hugh old fig tree and a sign with information of times gone by.

 At McMahons Point it is easy to catch a ferry to the city, Darling Harbour and suburbs.
