MANLY

The Manly Ferry leaves every 30 minutes and goes non-stop to Manly .
Each way takes half an hour, and with a break of 15 minutes, the return trip takes 1 1/4 hour.

Out of Circular Quay

and the City was quickly left behind.

Past the North Shore suburbs,

    Bradleys Head,

 and the Eastern Suburbs,

  to the north Belmoral

Dobroyed Head, just opposite the entrance to the harbour.

North Head                                          and                                                      South Head

Along the old Quarantine Station,

past Forty Baskets Bay

We in Balgowlah  lived in the mid 60s. It is a most beautiful place with lots of great walks, very good fishing and swimming.

And soon we were in Manly.

Only a few hundred meters from Manly Wharf is the ocean beach.
Since everyone had to get off the ferry, I decided to walk from Manly Cove along the pretty Corso

          to Manly Beach

And then quickly on the way back
