TARONGA ZOO

The Taronga Zoo Ferry leaves Circular Quay every 30 minutes and more frequently on public holidays and goes directly to the zoo. The return trip takes 50 minutes.

The ferry route is very much like the one to Mosman up to Cremorne Point, but goes a little further to Athol Bay.

Of course most people take this ferry to visit the zoo.

But along Athol Bay is also a great walk leading to Bradleys Head and beyond.
At Bradleys Head is a monument with the HMS Sydney Mast.

From the ferry one can often observe water birds.
